The Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) basketball nipped the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 56-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy got by Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA), 31-24, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern test on Thursday, February 3. Oscar Smith will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 65-46 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-11.
