The San Benito Haybalers tipped the host Salinas Cowboys basketball team by a final score of 59-54 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Haybalers face the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan battle, on Thursday, February 3. San Benito will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record.
The Cowboys (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars come into the PCAL - Gabilan battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Christopher edged North Salinas (Salinas, CA), 71-58, in a league battle.
