The Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS) basketball nipped the visiting McLouth Bulldogs (McLouth, KS), 43-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Chargers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS). The Ravens go into the test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy was tipped by Atchison County (Effingham, KS), 45-23, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Pleasant Ridge for a Northeast Kansas test on Friday, February 4. McLouth will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 36-33 league win over Horton (Horton, KS). The Rams record now stands at 6-7.
