North Carolina High School Basketball - Seaforth crushes Jordan-Matthews

Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 65-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Seaforth upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to North Moore (Robbins, NC) to play the Mustangs in a 1A/2A Conference 14 bout on Friday, February 4. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-11. North Moore lost 59-34 in their recent league bout against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)

Next up, the Jets play the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 2. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 50-32 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
