The Seaforth Hawks basketball team scored 26 points and held the host Jordan-Matthews Jets to 25 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Moore for a contest on Friday, February 4. Seaforth will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 31-23 league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.

The Jets (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Southwestern Randolph was nudged by Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 80-51, in a league contest.
