Brooklyn Center/Parnassus Prep Centaur (Brooklyn Center, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), 85-81 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brooklyn Center/Parnassus Prep upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Centaur travel to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Kennedy lost 75-65 in their recent non-league bout against Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Stars play the Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Hylanders go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 89-74 league loss to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN).
