The Boston Latin Academy Dragons (Dorchester, MA) basketball nipped the host Arlington Catholic Cougars (Arlington, MA), 82-76 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Dragons (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Boston College High (Boston, MA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Boston College High was tipped by Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA), 71-62, in a league test.
The Cougars now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Feehan for a Catholic Central - Large contest on Friday, February 3. Arlington Catholic will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 71-50 league win over Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Shamrocks record now stands at 8-6.
