Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Summit Charter Bears (Cashiers, NC), 75-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blue Ridge Early College upgrades its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Nantahala (Topton, NC) to play the Hawks in a 1A Conference 43 - Little bout on Friday, February 3. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Nantahala lost 70-31 in their recent non-league bout against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Oconee Christian Academy Warriors (Seneca, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Summit Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-17 record after their 48-26 league loss to King Academy (Batesburg, SC).
