Utah High School Basketball - Emery over Canyon View

February 1, 2023: Cedar City, UT 84720

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) and the host Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT), saw Emery's basketball squad overcome Canyon View by a tally of 68-60.

With the victory, Emery improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Grand County (Moab, UT) to confront the Red Devils in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Grand County lost 71-35 in their recent league challenge against Richfield (Richfield, UT)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) in a 3A Region 12 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Canyon View will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Dinos come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 64-53 non-league loss to Manti (Manti, UT).
