Maryland High School Basketball - Wilde Lake fells Centennial

February 1, 2023: Ellicott City, MD 21042

Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD), 68-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilde Lake upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Wildecats travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Vikings in a Howard County bout on Friday, February 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Eagles play the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Friday, February 3. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Scorpions go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 52-44 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
