Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA), 67-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Clear Lake upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA) to play the Knights in a North Central I bout on Friday, February 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 14-9. Kelseyville lost 55-52 in their recent league bout against Middletown (Middletown, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Fort Bragg Timberwolves (Fort Bragg, CA) in a North Central I bout, on Friday, February 3. Lower Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 73-34 league loss to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA).
