The Coleman Comets basketball team (Coleman, MI), dropped 60-45 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI)
The Pirates now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State battle on Friday, February 3. Fulton will battle a Eagles team coming off a 43-28 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
The Comets (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Vandals come into the Mid-State battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Merrill dropped by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 50-37, in a league battle.
