In Wednesday's league outing, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), by a margin of 63-54.
The Mustangs (17-11) will now prepare for their outing against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the 6A Region II District 16 outing with a 19-10 record. In their last outing, Langham Creek thwarted Cypress Park (Cypress, TX), 56-54, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 11-16 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgeland for a 6A Region II District 16 outing on Saturday, February 4. Cypress Lakes will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 55-54 league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Bears record now stands at 8-20.
