The Eastpointe Shamrocks basketball team (Eastpointe, MI), was overwhelmed 58-28 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI)
The Spartans now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Fitzgerald will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 75-35 non-league loss to Lincoln (Warren, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-10.
The Shamrocks (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, L'Anse Creuse was overwhelmed by Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI), 67-63, in a non-league battle.
