In Wednesday's league outing, the Falmouth Academy Mariners (Falmouth, MA) basketball squad beat the host Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA), by a count of 45-37.
The Mariners (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA). The Storm go into the Cape & Islands - Lighthouse outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Sturgis East was topped by Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 50-39, in a league outing.
The Navigators now hold a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Cod RVT for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3.
