Idaho High School Basketball - Firth thwarts West Jefferson

The Firth Cougars (Firth, ID) basketball knocked off the visiting West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID), 58-46 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages go into the 2A Nuclear test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Salmon went down by West Jefferson (Terreton, ID), 71-41, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Ririe for a 2A Nuclear test on Friday, February 3. West Jefferson will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 50-44 league win over North Fremont (Ashton, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.
