Illinois High School Basketball - Francis W. Parker can't hold off Northridge

The Northridge Knights basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Francis W. Parker Colonels to 61 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicago University for a Independent School contest on Friday, February 3. Northridge will battle a Maroons team coming off a 102-2 non-league loss to Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 9-11.

The Colonels (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Raiders enter the Independent School contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, North Shore Country Day nudged Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL), 60-57, in a league contest.
