The Franklin Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Valley View Spartans to 45 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookville for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Franklin will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 65-38 non-league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-7.

The Spartans (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Middletown, OH). The Mohawks enter the Southwestern Buckeye - West contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Madison triumphed over Dixie (New Lebanon, OH), 52-46, in a non-league contest.
