Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID), 53-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Genesis Prep Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Lakeside (Plummer, ID) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Miners play the Lakeside Knights (Plummer, ID) in a 1A Scenic Idaho bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Wallace will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 111-36 non-league win over Mullan (Mullan, ID).
