In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels basketball team scored a tight 78-72 triumph over the Glenelg Country Dragons.
In their next game, the Gaels meet the Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD) in a MIAA A - Red match, on Friday, February 3. Mount St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 26-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 4-15 record after their 63-55 league loss to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD).
With the defeat, Glenelg Country moves to 5-12 on the year. The Dragons travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league match on Saturday, February 4. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 18-2. Riverdale Baptist won 93-40 in their recent league match against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD)
