Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mott Marauders (Warren, MI), 82-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Grosse Pointe North upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Utica Eisenhower won 73-56 in their recent non-league bout against New Haven (New Haven, MI)

Next up, the Marauders play the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a Macomb Area - White bout, on Friday, February 3. Mott will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 75-72 league loss to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI).
