In Wednesday's league match, the host Summit Hilltoppers basketball team scored a tight 59-54 triumph over the Hillside Comets.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers meet the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Summit will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Mountaineers enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 64-53 non-league loss to Montgomery (Skillman, NJ).
With the defeat, Hillside moves to 2-13 on the year.
