In Wednesday's league outing, the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 77-53.

The Huskies (13-14) will now prepare for their outing against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks go into the 6A Region IV District 29 outing with a 16-10 record. In their last outing, Harlan smashed Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX), 70-61, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to Harlan for a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Wednesday, February 8. Jay will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 50-46 league loss to Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 16-11.
