The Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Turners Falls Thunder to 46 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer Valley Regional for a Hampshire - North contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hopkins Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 59-52 non-league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-2.

The Thunder (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lee (Lee, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Lee was routed by Drury (North Adams, MA), 70-48, in a non-league contest.
