The University Academy Charter Generals basketball team (Jersey City, NJ), was overwhelmed 73-43 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ)

The Kardinals now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newark Vocational for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Kearny will confront a Eagles team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.

The Generals (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Cougars come into the Hudson County - National battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, McNair Academic trounced Memorial (West New York, NJ), 56-47, in a non-league battle.
