In Wednesday's league outing, the Middletown Mustangs (Middletown, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Kelseyville Knights (Kelseyville, CA), by a margin of 55-52.
The Mustangs (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA). The Eagles go into the North Central I outing with a 20-2 record. In their last outing, Cloverdale got by St. Helena (St. Helena, CA), 56-48, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Lake for a North Central I outing on Friday, February 3. Kelseyville will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-66 league win over Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-7.
