The Montpelier Solons basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Lake Region Rangers to 43 in the Solons league triumph on Wednesday.

The Solons now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harwood for a Capital contest on Friday, February 3.

The Rangers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Crimson Tide enter the Metro contest with a 10-0 record.
