California High School Basketball - Leigh can't hold off Piedmont Hills

The Leigh Longhorns basketball team (San Jose, CA), was nudged 58-55 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA)

The Pirates now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West battle on Friday, February 3. Piedmont Hills will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-55 league loss to Independence (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-11.

The Longhorns (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Lions come into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Lincoln edged Branham (San Jose, CA), 71-63, in a league battle.
