Virginia High School Basketball - Maret edges Potomac School

The Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) basketball nipped the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), 56-52 in Wednesday's league test.
The Frogs (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Huskies go into the VISAA Division I test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Flint Hill got by Anacostia (Washington, DC), 68-63, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host St. James for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Potomac School will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 90-46 league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 2-13.
