In Wednesday's league outing, the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME), by a margin of 72-49.
The Dragons (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Calais (Calais, ME). The Blue Devils go into the C North outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Calais smashed Machias (Machias, ME), 85-82, in a non-league outing.
The Lynx now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Lee Academy for a C North outing on Thursday, February 2. Mattanawcook will clash with a Pandas squad coming off a 43-34 league win over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME). The Pandas record now stands at 8-8.
