The Williams Yellowjackets basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Maxwell Panthers to 50 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Wednesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a Mid-Valley contest on Friday, February 3. Williams will battle a Braves team coming off a 55-39 league loss to Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Braves record now stands at 7-12.

The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Lynx come into the Mid-Valley contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, CORE Butte was defeated by Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 62-32, in a league contest.
