In Wednesday's league outing, the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) basketball squad beat the host North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR), by a count of 64-50.
The Celtics (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons go into the 6A Central Valley outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, South Salem was topped by Sprague (Salem, OR), 67-46, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to South Salem for a 6A Central Valley outing on Tuesday, February 7. North Salem will clash with a Saxons squad coming off a 72-57 league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR). The Saxons record now stands at 5-14.
