The Shepherd Bluejays basketball team (Shepherd, MI), was nudged 46-41 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI)
The Mustangs now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beaverton for a Jack Pine battle on Friday, February 3. Meridian will confront a Beavers team coming off a 72-35 league win over Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 8-7.
The Bluejays (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Hornets come into the Jack Pine battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Harrison was nudged by Farwell (Farwell, MI), 47-46, in a league battle.
