Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA), 41-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Moravian Academy upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Notre Dame lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA)

Next up, the Green Knights play the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) in a Colonial - East bout, on Saturday, February 4. Pen Argyl will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 56-45 league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA).
