Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA) and the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA), saw Northridge Academy's basketball squad hold off Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences by a tally of 44-38.

With the victory, Northridge Academy improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Pumas host Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA) to confront the Knights in a Valley challenge on Friday, February 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Sherman Oaks CES won 54-44 in their recent league challenge against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA)

Next up, the Vipers confront the Fulton Jaguars (Van Nuys, CA) in a Valley challenge, on Friday, February 3. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 88-24 league loss to Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
