The Summit Academy Bears basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Providence Hall Patriots to 23 in the Bears league victory on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host American Leadership Academy for a 3A Region 15 contest on Friday, February 3. Summit Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-42 league win over Providence Hall (Herriman, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 14-6.

The Patriots (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 15 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Judge Memorial Catholic prevailed over Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT), 42-41, in a non-league contest.
