The Raton Tigers basketball team (Raton, NM), was overwhelmed 84-56 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM)

The Cardinals now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe Prep for a 3A District 2 battle on Saturday, February 4. Robertson will confront a Blue Griffins team coming off a 57-52 league loss to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 9-8.

The Tigers (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen come into the 3A District 2 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, St. Michael's trounced West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 73-49, in a league battle.
