Salmon River Shamrocks (Fort Covington, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Regis Falls Saints (St. Regis Falls, NY), 70-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Salmon River upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to St. Regis Falls (St. Regis Falls, NY) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 5. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 0-13.

Next up, the Saints play the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers (Parishville, NY) in a Section 10 East bout, on Friday, February 3. St. Regis Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 51-37 league loss to Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY).
