The Union Catholic Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Union Farmers to 57 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manasquan for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Union Catholic will meet a Warriors team coming off a 81-26 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 15-3.

The Farmers (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Cranford was nudged by Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ), 80-42, in a non-league contest.
