The University Lab Cubs basketball team (Baton Rouge, LA), was nudged 63-56 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA)
The Wildcats now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Live Oak for a 5A District 5 battle on Friday, February 3.
The Cubs (13-13) will now prepare for their battle against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Dunham edged St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA), 57-51, in a non-league battle.
