The Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 44-39 in Wednesday's league test.
The Thunder (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets go into the test with a 9-2 record.
The Bears now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a test on Friday, February 3. Palmer Ridge will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 61-51 league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lions record now stands at 7-6.
