The La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) basketball knocked off the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 67-58 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bears (12-3) will now prepare for their test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, West Mesa notched a victory over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 67-62, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Eldorado will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 53-32 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 12-7.
