The Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars to 26 in the Griffins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Griffins now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alliance Health Services Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology will battle a Wolves team coming off a 35-18 non-league loss to Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-5.

The Cougars (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Community Charter ran past North Valley Military Institute (Sun Valley, CA), 31-25, in a league contest.
