Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 58-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Annawan upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Braves travel to Princeville (Princeville, IL) to play the Princes in a Lincoln Trail bout on Monday, February 6. The Princes go into the bout with a record of 21-8. Princeville won 44-33 in their recent league bout against Mercer County (Aledo, IL)

Next up, the Rebels play the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Monday, February 6. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-21 season record. The Red Storm go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL).
