The Beddingfield Bruins basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting North Johnston Panthers to 22 in the Bruins league victory on Wednesday.
The Bruins now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Wayne for a 2A Conference 8 contest on Friday, February 3. Beddingfield will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-41 league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 15-5.
The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Cougars come into the 2A Conference 8 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Goldsboro triumphed over Princeton (Princeton, NC), 35-33, in a league contest.
