Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 24-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Blackstone Valley Prep upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The PRIDE host Lincoln School (Providence, RI) to clash with the Lynx in a Division 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Lincoln School won 65-16 in their recent league bout against Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Blue Wave clash with the Block Island (New Shoreham, RI) in a Division 4 bout, on Friday, February 3. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 46-41 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, RI).
