In Wednesday's league outing, the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN), by a count of 63-44.

The Cougars (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson go into the AAAA Section 5 outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Maple Grove defeated Andover (Andover, MN), 70-44, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Osseo for a AAAA Section 5 outing on Tuesday, February 7.
