Clear Lake Cardinals (Lakeport, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Clear Lake upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA) to clash with the Knights in a North Central I bout on Friday, February 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-21. Kelseyville lost 54-9 in their recent league bout against Middletown (Middletown, CA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Fort Bragg Timberwolves (Fort Bragg, CA) in a North Central I bout, on Friday, February 3. Lower Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 53-11 league win over Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA).
