In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), by a margin of 47-21.
The Raiders (4-16) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Generals go into the AAAA Region 7 outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Heritage smashed Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 48-40, in a league outing.
The Pumas now own a 0-23 record. They play next when they travel to Chattooga for a A D1 Region 7 outing on Friday, February 3. Dalton Academy will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 43-39 league win over Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Indians record now stands at 11-11.
