The Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD) basketball knocked off the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 48-40 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD). The Mavericks go into the Carroll County test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Manchester Valley notched a victory over Century (Sykesville, MD), 50-15, in a league test.
The Owls now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a Carroll County test on Friday, February 3. Westminster will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 50-15 league loss to Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD). The Knights record now stands at 9-7.
